On Monday, Jan. 22, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will travel to Parkland, Florida, where he will join U.S. Representative Jared Moskowitz, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly, and other county and school officials for a private walkthrough of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the site of the tragic February 14, 2018 shooting. This guided visitation is closed to all media.

Afterwards, they will meet with the families of some of the victims of the shooting to discuss how the Federal Government can continue to support schools on safety and mental health. The roundtable is open to press.
