Program Description

The program supports innovative projects that recruit and compensate students for work assignments in off-campus community service jobs.

Types of Projects

Awards are made to Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) that design or arrange off-campus work-study placements for enrolled undergraduate students. Funds granted to an IHE may only be used to make payments to students participating in work-study programs. These awards may include compensation for time spent in training and in traveling to work site(s) or training.
