The Office of Policy and Planning (OPP) is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and overseeing all OSERS activities relating to policy formulation, program and strategic planning, regulations, evaluation, and grants and contract scheduling activities.
In performing its responsibilities, the OPP serves as liaison with the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs and the Office of the General Counsel on OSERS legislative matters and the Department's budget offices on program budget matters.
In addition, OPP establishes and monitors the annual schedule of grant and contract activities of OSERS.
