Adam Kissel is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Higher Education Programs in the Office of Postsecondary Education. He most recently was Senior Program Officer at the Charles Koch Foundation, responsible for major higher education grants. Prior to that he was Vice President of Programs for the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, directing the program that defended fundamental rights of students and faculty members across the country. He holds degrees from Harvard University and the University of Chicago.
