This section of an ELL plan addresses equal access for ELL students to the full range of district programs, including special education, Title I, gifted and talented programs, and nonacademic and extracurricular activities.
- Does the plan describe methods to ensure that staff are aware of the district's policy regarding ensuring equal opportunities for ELL students to participate in the range of programs made available to students generally?
- Does the district have, or know where to obtain, any tests or assessment materials needed to determine ELL students’ eligibility for special programs, including special education, Title I, and gifted and talented?
- Do the methods used by the district to notify parents and students of available programs and activities take into account language barriers?
