  • Office of Indian Education Seeking Field Readers - Due Date for Resume Submission is February 10, 2012
    The Office of Indian Education is soliciting highly qualified individuals to assist in the review process for two discretionary grant competitions – Demonstration Grants for Indian Children and the Professional Development program. Both programs are administered under Title VII of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended. The discretionary grant review information will be posted here when the scheduled is finalized.   • 2012 Discretionary Grant Application Webinar Training Sessions Scheduled
    The Office of Indian Education has scheduled online Webex training sessions for anyone interested in applying for an Indian Demonstration grant. Webex training sessions are planned to assist you in preparing applications for OIE's discretionary grant competitions listed below. Each presentation will be approximately one hour in length and cover the basic program requesirements, submission, and questions and answers. You will need access to the Internet and a telephone to particiate in the WebEx sessions. The webex training sessions are as follows:

  • Before the Session
    Please check the Web-Ex system requirements to make sure you can participate in the training. To join a session, you will need to download the WebEx Meeting Manager. You can do this at any time before the session. You must have administrator priviledges on your computer to download the Meeting Manager. If you do not have administrator priviledges or are unsure about downloading, please contact your System Administrator or IT department.


  • Day of the Session
    If you did not download the WebEx Meeting Manager, you will need to do so at least 30 minutes prior to the session. If you do not download the Meeting Manager prior to the session, it will download automatically when you join the meeting. Because connection speeds vary, you should allow at least 30 minutes for downloading. Please contact your System Administrator or IT department if you have any questions about downloading. On the day of the session, return to this page. We will provide call-in information and a Join Now button to participate in each session.
