FY 2011
The Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2011, P.L. 112-10, was passed by Congress on April 15, 2011. It provides funding for the Department of Education for the remainder of Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2011. The FY 2011 appropriation for SIP is $83,832,000, a reduction of $168,000 from the FY 2010 level. The Department anticipates no reduction in continuation awards. In addition, the Department expects to make new grant awards from the approved FY 2010 SIP slate as announced in the Federal Register on July 6, 2010.
