8.Objectives: To provide vocational training and job placements to 270 detained county inmates. To place persons released from the correctional setting into supported employment.

9. Procedures: The project will be managed by a non-profit agency with 15 years experience working inside the local workhouse, known as the House of Correction. The Wisconsin Correctional Service manages the work release center offering training, education and placement services to the unemployed. The demonstration project will train staff in techniques of Cooperative Learning.

10.Outcomes/Results/Products: To improve skills and education of 270 inmates. To evaluate, document, and disseminate the impact of the program model and its components. This also includes publications, presentations and the production of a professional video which describes the process and impact of implementation of a Cooperative Learning model to teach marketable vocational skills in a local detention center.
