CAROL A. CICHOWSKI

DIRECTOR, SPECIAL EDUCATION, REHABILITATION AND RESEARCH ANALYSIS DIVISION, BUDGET SERVICE

Carol Cichowski is Director of the Special Education, Rehabilitation and Research Analysis Division in the Education Department's Budget Service. She has held this position since l981.

From l980 to l981, Cichowski served as legislative counsel in the Department of Education's Office of the General Counsel and from l978 to l980, she was an associate with the law firm of Arnold and Porter of Washington, DC.

She received a Presidential Meritorious Executive Award in l992.

Cichowski was born in New Britain, Connecticut and received both her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
