The Denver Federal Center is a large area bordered on the north by West 6th Avenue, on the south by Alameda Avenue, on the east by Kipling Street and on the west by Union Boulevard in Lakewood, Colorado west of downtown Denver. Everyone in your vehicle will be asked to show your government-issued identification, such as a driver's license or tribal ID, at the entrance of the DFC and to enter each building.

From the north or south:

  • Drive toward Denver on I-25.
  • Take US-6 W / 6th Ave., Exit 209 B toward Lakewood. Merge left onto US-6. (Do not exit onto Federal Blvd.)
  • Continue on US-6 West to the Kipling South exit.
  • From Kipling, turn right into Gate 1, second entrance on the right. Everyone in your vehicle will be asked for government-issued identification.
  • Once through Gate 1, turn right onto First Street.
  • Proceed to the Y and go left onto Second Street. Building 25 is the 3rd building on the left after passing through two stop signs.

From the east or west:

  • Drive toward Denver on I-70.
  • Turn South on I-25.
  • Take US-6 W / 6th Ave., Exit 209 B toward Lakewood. Merge left onto US-6. (Do not exit onto Federal Blvd.)
  • Continue on US-6 West to the Kipling South exit.
  • From Kipling, turn right into Gate 1 entrance, second entrance on the right. Everyone in your vehicle will be asked for government-issued identification.
  • Once through Gate 1, turn right onto First Street.
  • Proceed to the Y and go left onto Second Street. Building 25 is the 3rd building on the left after passing through two stop signs.

Denver International Airport (DIA) services the Denver area.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is easily accessed via interstate highways and is conveniently located approximately an hour from Denver Federal Center by car. Rental cars, airport shuttles, and taxis are readily available at the airport. From the airport:

  • From Denver International Airport, follow Pena Blvd. to I-70 West.
  • Take I-70 West.
  • Merge onto I-25 South.
  • Take US-6 W / 6th Ave., Exit 209 B toward Lakewood. Merge left onto US-6. (Do not exit onto Federal Blvd.)
  • Continue on US-6 West to the Kipling Street South exit.
  • From Kipling, turn right into Gate 1, second entrance on the right. Everyone in your vehicle will be asked for government-issued identification.
  • Once through Gate 1, turn right onto First Street.
  • Proceed to the Y and go left onto Second Street. Building 25 is the 3rd building on the left after passing through two stop signs.

Parking and Building Entrance

Parking:

  • Parking is free.
  • A large visitor parking lot is located on Second Street across from Building 25. Park anywhere in an unassigned space.
  • Alternate parking is available near the corner of Third Street and Center Avenue.

Building 25: Identification is required to enter the building.

  • All guests enter through entrance W-2.
  • Show your ID to the guard and continue straight.
  • The Conference Room is right next to guard desk.
  • Building 25 has a cafeteria next to the conference room. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks are available from 7:00 to 3:00. CASH ONLY.
