Secretary Spellings Visits Alaska
August 29-30, 2007

Secretary Spellings joined Senators Stevens and Murkowski to visit schools in Alaska, where they commended students and teachers for gains made under No Child Left Behind. The Secretary underscored the need to strengthen the law through Congressional renewal this year and to continue the progress toward grade-level success for all students.
