Secretary Cardona will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he will participate in a roundtable to highlight student debt forgiveness and speak with borrowers who have been approved for relief through one of the four existing major student loan forgiveness programs: Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), Income-Drive Repayment (IDR), Saving On A Valuable Education (SAVE), and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD).

Secretary Cardona will end the day visiting a FAFSA clinic for high school seniors and families held at Little Rock Central High School.

This trip is part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to fixing the broken student loan system. This Administration has already cancelled more debt than any other Administration in history. To date, the Administration has approved debt cancellation for 4.3 million hard-working Americans totaling almost $146 billion in relief.
