The Center for Education Reform
The Center for Education Reform is a national, independent, non-profit organization founded in 1993 to provide support and guidance to parents, teachers, community and civic groups, policy makers and grass roots leaders, and all who are working to bring fundamental reforms to their schools.
Magnet Schools of America
The Magnet Schools of America's (MSA) mission is to promote desegregation, equity, and excellence through the expansion and improvement of magnet schools. MSA also provides information for parents and community members on the benefits of magnet schools as schools of choice.
Edison Schools
Founded in 1992 as The Edison Project, Edison schools is the country's leading private manager of public schools. The Edison school design is founded on ten fundamentals, which allows Edison to achieve dramatic results. At present, 136 schools (including charter schools) have adopted Edison's school design and 75,000 students currently attend Edison partnership schools.
The Center for School Choice
The Center for School Choice is a website maintained jointly by the Institute for the Transformation of Learning and the Black Alliance for Educational Options. The site aims to provide frank information about school choice.
U.S. Charter Schools
Maintained in part by the U.S. Department of Education, the site serves as an online learning community to support charter schools. Resources include a chronology and history of the charter movement, key definitions, examples and research studies and statistics.
The Charter Friends National Network
The Charter Friends National Network's mission is to promote quality charter schools by connecting and supporting resource centers, charter school associations and other state-level charter support organizations. CFNN pursues its mission through research, publications, meetings, online communications, a grant program, and multi-state initiatives on high priority issues of common concern to charter schools nationally.
The Council for Basic Education
The Council for Basic Education (CBE) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1956 by a group of concerned citizens who were convinced that there is a close relationship between a healthy democracy and excellence in public education. CBE is an independent voice of educational excellence for all students, advocates high academic standards and exemplary teaching in every classroom of our nation's public schools.
The Children's Scholarship Fund
The Children's Scholarship Fund strives to maximize educational opportunity at all income levels by offering tuition assistance for needy families and to promote a diverse and competitive educational environment.
The National Career Academies Coalition
The National Career Academies Coalition's mission is to create and support a national network of existing and emerging career academies through collaboration.
