Linda Simon of Albuquerque, NM, wrote: "I am sending this e-mail as follow-up to our phone conversation in which I expressed my extreme satisfaction with, and appreciation for, the resource materials I ordered at the http://www.ed.gov/about/ordering.jsp web site. I ordered approximately 15 different items from those currently available as a means for enhancing our programs. I was first impressed with how quickly I received my order. Next, I was greatly pleased and surprised at the high quality of the materials. They are absolutely great! The fact that some could be ordered in Spanish and Navajo made it that much better, since these resources are often difficult to find. I particularly like the Vamos Juntos a la Escuela [Video], Helping Your Child Get Ready for School, the CONNECTIONS curriculums, and the Preschool Substance Abuse Prevention materials. Again, I wanted to tell you how wonderful these materials are, and how helpful they have been."

Gail Davis of Beele Glade, FL wrote: "Thank you and your organization for mailing, at no charge, the books, brochures, leaflets, flyers [America Reads Challenge: Read*Write*Now Activity Poster Featuring Arthur; Questions Parents Ask About Schools; Challenge Young Minds: 50 Ways to Education]; concerning parenting skills and parent advocacy. These topics will be very beneficial to and for children in their emotional, physical and educational development. It takes a village to raise a positive child."

Ashmia Gignh of Warwick, RI wrote: "Thank you for not only taking the time to respond to request via email but also for sending me the requisite application materials for the Jacob K. Javits Fellowship Grant Application. I appreciate it very much!"

Shirley Dourgarian of San Ramon, CA wrote: "Thank you for your prompt service in processing our request for Survival Guide for New Teachers] We appreciate your help and support here at the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

Loretta Sanchez, Member of Congress wrote: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance with the Educational Resource Fair held at my office in October. Your work helped guarantee that this event was a success. Additional, I would like to commend Ms. Bowling (ED Pubs staff specialist) for her assistance with our order..her efforts went above and beyond what is typically required."
