Library Operates Toll-Free Reference Information Services Line

Free publications, reference searches, education statistics, and more are available from the National Library of Education's toll-free number (1-800-424-1616) or e-mail: library@ed.gov. In operation since 1994, the line receives approximately 4,000 calls each month. Plans are now underway to link the toll-free number with the ERIC system, the world's largest education database.
