Senior Counselor to the General Counsel
Donald Yu serves as Senior Counselor to the General Counsel. In this role, Don serves as a principal advisor to the General Counsel on Federal education law and policy.
Prior to joining OGC, Don worked at law firms that specialized in education, labor and employment law. Don received his law degree cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law. During law school, he served as the Note and Comment Editor on the Journal of International Human Rights. Prior to law school, he worked as a high school English teacher in the Philadelphia area. Don also received his bachelor and master's degrees in English from Columbia University.
